About Donut Farm

 
 

Donut Farm's commitment to a vegan recipe is for two reasons:

a) We believe that a vegan diet is the most sustainable diet for human health & compassionate living.

b) We believe that our vegan donuts are the very best, and our customers agree!

 

   Pepples Donut Farm, or simply, Donut Farm, was started in 2006 by Josh Levine. A San Francisco native with a long history in the music scene, and activism with many organizations including 924 Gilman street.  After years of the music business and a stint in the white collar world, a dream and an idea led to the launch of a vegan donut company. What started as a daily wholesale business serving cafes in SF, Oakland and Berkeley in 2007 grew into its first retail space at the SF Ferrybuilding marketplace in 2010. Stores in San Francisco and Los Angeles including a brunch restaurant in Jack London Square, were closed due to the pandemic ultimately.

Donut Farm is currently downsized to the Original location on San Pablo Ave. in Oakland, offering donuts coffee and espresso drinks 7 days a week. Also the full line of donuts is available at our sister business at 1312 Gilman Street, Coffee Concious.
